
Dr. Ratchada Chaikupt, a dedicated advocate for human trafficking eradication and women’s rights, holds esteemed roles as a senior researcher and lecturer at the Asian Research Center for Migration, Chulalongkorn University. As Thailand’s representative to ACWC for women’s rights and a member of national sub-committees on anti-human trafficking, especially for women and children, she plays a pivotal role in combating these issues. Recognized for her outstanding collaboration with the Department of Special Investigation, Ministry of Justice, Thailand, Dr. Chaikupt received the Network Model Award 2018. Her expertise spans various domains including voluntary and forced migration, female labor, migrant worker rights, human trafficking, and modern slavery. Moreover, she actively promotes women’s participation in politics and works tirelessly to protect the rights of women and girls. Driven by her passion and commitment, she continues to make significant strides in advancing human rights and gender equality in Southeast Asia.
